We are running a sacred touch area at an event, but our name for it was rejected. I've gone through many thoughts, but none are sticking.
What would you call a place at an event where you gather to take place in sacred touch?
Thanks,

Touch the Soul
Touch Your Soul
Soul of Touch
Soul Touch
Touch of the Heart
Touch Your Heart
Touching Hearts
Heart Touch
Touch of Awakening
Awakening Touch
Awakening to Touch
Ecstatic Touch
Touch of Ecstasy
Bliss Touch
And of course, there's the obvious: Sacred Touch
If none of those work, perhaps you can describe the event a little, give the image you want to project (i.e. sacred, erotic), and what standards/restrictions the organizers have on name choice. |

the name that was rejected was "place of sacred touch"?
.. so the name for the "space" .. not the "event"
and, sure, it's likely a bit late for you by now, but just if anyone can benefit from this copywriting brainstorm (thanks Gary!)
of course .. if they reject your name for the spot .. they might not react too well to what you intend in general?
though that kind of thing can work.
A Dakini of my school found a gorgeous venue in the Cape winelands for a women's group she was facilitating. They seemed very happy with her booking, told her "no alcohol" and mentioned no music or dancing either . . . she assumes they're concerned about noise, and her group there started fine. First topic up, the repression of the culture and archetypal taboos. Her friend arives with the huge (real live) snake that they get to cuddle and such (girl stuff … I wasn't there … this is all hearsay).
So, it turns out that the no alcohol, no singing, dancing (which they've been doing a bit of) rule is because the trust that controls the property has to run it on ultra-conservative-christian principles .. really NO - NO dancing or music, along with the alcohol ban, and the eagerness to hire the place out was because they consequently can't get any marriage-venue gigs.
Gorgeous lesson for these women. They just touch the snake and the patriarchal, luciferian system leaps in to control things. They then go to a gorgeous backup venue with hosts that love our work.
So, what a digression, but I like the story. i suggested that she do a deal with these fundamentalists that they repeat the performance for all her womens' groups.
So BOT, names for the place for a yummie event…
tantra lounge
cuddle confabulation
lovezone
touchspace
close club
new-oneida
touch haven
.. hope someone gets to use one of these someday.. _________________ Love, however it looks.

Ouch...hope your goddess facilitator wasn't named Eve. Did they allow apples?
Nothing like a good false moral system to put a damper on things. If anyone's interested in the truth about such things, read the following:

[please make any comments on the subject in one of those forums]
Thanks Rahasya -- always nice to hear from you.
