| WebSite Issues |
I see computer code in some of the messages!
This is most likely due to an incorrect setting in your Member Profile. Go to your Profile and select 'Yes' for the following three options:
~ Always allow BBCode ~ Always allow HTML ~ Always enable Smilies
If you still have display problems, see this FAQ.

The site doesn't look right (& other display issues)
[If you see computer code in some of the messages, see this FAQ.]
This site is designed to be viewed on the latest version of major browsers (it has been tested on Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera, and Firefox). Your browser must support CSS (Cascading Style Sheets -- most current browsers support this web design standard).
If you are not using the latest version of your preferred browser, graphics & layout of the site may not display correctly (content can still be viewed). We suggest that you visit your browser's homepage and upgrade. This will improve the display of other websites on the Internet for you as well.
Your browser must also support javascript (standard on most new browsers), and it must be enabled in your browser preferences (typically the default setting - it should be okay unless you have changed it); otherwise certain website functions may fail (you still should be able to view all site content).
If you have questions about your display, please email the Webmaster; include your browser manufacturer and version number.

The color doesn't look right
This site is designed for viewing on PC's with any Microsoft Windows operating system. If your colors aren't good, try the following:
1) adjust the color hue on your monitor (refer to your owner's manual if you need help).
2) check your settings for the Display icon in your Control Panel; be sure your monitor is set to display the maximum number of colors possible (highest color quality). Refer to Microsoft Windows instructions for setting your Display Control Panel. Older monitors may not display as many colors as new monitors -- if your settings show a maximum of 16-bit or 'thousands of colors' (as opposed to 32-bit or 'millions of colors'), your display of this website (and others) will not be as rich. Consider buying a new monitor.
If you have a Macintosh computer, colors on this website (and others) may appear off. This is due to a difference in the way Apple computers render colors. In the future, we hope to post a color-adjusted Mac version of our site; your feedback helps -- tell us how significant the color issues are on your computer, and any other relevant information. For display color issues, email the Webmaster.

 |
The picture doesn't fit on my screen
Our site is designed to fit horizontally on your screen at all screen resolutions. This is done using javascript code that detects your monitor's resolution and automatically adjusts the display. You must have javascript enabled for this to work (see this FAQ). If you have javascript enabled and the site still does not fit horizontally on your screen, email the Webmaster; include your monitor's screen resolution (found in the Display Control Panel).

I'm having trouble navigating the site
If you simply can't find your way around, view our Navigation Tips. For a list of links to basic site features, see the FAQ's at the top of the page, starting here.
If the site menus don't work on your computer, see the next FAQ, below.

 |
The site menus don't work!
If the site menus don't work, your browser probably doesn't support CSS and/or javascript, or you have them disabled (see this FAQ). If this is the case, the left-hand menu on main site pages (e.g. Welcome page) should still work. For other pages, try these work-arounds:
1) Learning Center/Forum: click on 'Site Menu' at the top of any page to go to the homepage; use the links there to navigate the site. (There is no work-around for the site menu at the bottom of the Forum pages -- it will not work without javascript.)
2) On other pages, click 'Site Menu' to go to either the homepage or welcome page, and navigate from there. Or use the footer links to get to the homepage.
If CSS/javascript is not the reason that your site menus don't work, email the Webmaster; indicate which menu(s), your basic system configuration, and any other relevant information.

Link problems -- the page I was sent to isn't there!
We try our best to update all links when we move pages on the site, and to remove links when pages are deleted. If you've found a broken link, let us know. Email the Webmaster; include the URL of the page that is missing, and also that of the page that has the bad link.

The page I was at earlier (or last time I was on the site) isn't there!
Several of our pages introduce site features to new users. Since return users do not need to view this introductory material again, we have designed our site to skip over these pages on subsequent visits. This lets you directly visit the pages you're looking for, improving your online experience. If you wish to review an introductory page that you saw on an earlier visit, either clear the 'cookies' from your browser (typically via Options or Preferences on the Tools menu), or use one of the special links below:

| Printing Messages |
How do I print messages?
The best way to print messages is via the EZ-Print page: click the printer icon at the top of the message you want to print.
 |
How do I find the EZ-Print page?
Click the printer icon at the top of the message you want to print.
 |
How do I select messages to print?
Each message on the EZ-Print page has a 'POST' number (to the left of its title). Use the two boxes at the top right of the page to select which messages to print: Enter the POST # of the first message you want to print in the first box. Enter the POST # of the last message you want to print in the second box. Hit 'Show' to display the selected messages. Click 'Print' (on left side of screen) to print the selected messages.
For example, to print messages 2 through 5, enter 2 in the first box and 5 in the second box.
TIP: To help find which messages to print, use the 'Goto page' numbers under the Print button (on the EZ-Print page); scroll through the numbers (or click 'Next') to display each message. Clicking 'Show All' displays all messages on one page; scroll down to view each message. When you've decided which messages to print, enter the numbers in the boxes as explained above.
Option: You can also select a range of messages by entering a negative number in the second box. For example, you can get the same result as above by entering 2 in the first box and -4 in the second box. This prints 4 messages starting at #2 (2, 3, 4, & 5).
Note: the default is set to print the first message only; this is typically the Society for Sacred Sexuality teaching for that Topic. For more on printing just one message (for example, if you just want to print one user's reply comment), see the next FAQ.

 |
How do I print just one message?
On the EZ-Print page, find the message you want to print by using the 'Goto page' numbers under the Print button on the left side of the page (scroll through the numbers, or click 'Next', to display each message). When your desired message is displayed, click 'Print'.
Alternatively, if you know the POST # of the message you want to print, enter that number in BOTH boxes at the top right of the page. For example, if you want to print POST 5, enter '5' in both boxes. Click 'Show' to display your selected message. After confirming your selection, click 'Print'.
(Note that entering '-1' in the second box gives the same result as entering the same number in both boxes. For example, to print POST 5, you can enter 5 in both boxes, or 5 in the first box and -1 in the second box. For more on this, and message selection in general, see the previous FAQ.)
