Saying Hello Posted: January 4, 2008 |
|
|
I've just joined and thought it would be nice to say hello - but that could be the female in me! (Any other women here?)
I've noticed the number of people looking for the sacredness of sex once again, is increasing. This is a path I've been wandering along for many years, but only now have I come to a point where I am able to emotionally take the journey. I am learning my way toward developing a spiritually based healing service, which will include aspects of sacred sex for sexual healing purposes and also to honour Inanna, my patron Goddess.
At present I'm learning as much as I can about breath, kundalini yoga, tantra and the workings of the body in a sacred sexual way.
I'm interested in learning more and know I will enjoy what others have to share.
blessings,
Ashara. |

Hi Ashara,
Welcome to the Society for Sacred Sexuality. Your experience is a common one. Many people have the inner feeling that their sexuality is somehow sacred (has to do with the innate sacredness of sex) and seek out teachings that validate that and allow them to live and express it.
And yes, it is VERY healing, for you and those you share it with. Just the fact of accepting your natural sanctity as you are - even without special techniques - has a healing effect.
I wish you well on your journey and hope you find the site useful in your learning. _________________ Sexual union is a mirror of Spiritual Union, and a gateway to direct experience of it. |
